How I Won a Hundred Thousand Pounds Worth of Watches

Guys, you're not going to want to miss this video on how I won a hundred thousand pounds worth of watches! I'm going to tell you everything I did, and maybe you can replicate what I did. Part of the replication is having some luck. I'm not going to lie to you—there's no cheat in the system, you need to be lucky, but I'll tell you how I did it.

The First Watch: A Rolex GMT Batman

How does someone win a hundred thousand pounds worth of watches? Well, I won four watch raffle competitions, and I'll tell you how I did it and which competitions I entered. Like, subscribe, and let's get into it!

These watches here are part of my current collection, but these aren’t the watches I won. The first watch I won was in December 2019. I was scrolling through Instagram when I saw a page called Luxury Competitions UK, selling tickets for a raffle to win a Rolex Batman.

If you've ever seen the English equivalent of Shark Tank—Dragon's Den—you'd know about these competitions. Basically, it's like gambling. You buy a ticket and hope to win. But they get around gambling laws by making it a skill-based competition. For example, the question might be: “Which watch is in the picture?” Answer: A Rolex Submariner. You don’t need much skill, and you can always Google the answer.

The First Win: Getting the Batman

So, on December 15th, I bought a single ticket—just one ticket. They sold 600 tickets, and lo and behold, I won! Unbelievable! I won the Batman on the oyster bracelet. I was absolutely buzzing!

To collect my prize, I took the train up to Manchester, where the guys running the competition were based. I met them, and they presented me with the watch. It was a huge moment for me because I'd never won anything like this before. This was the start of my watch journey!

The Second Win: The Rolex Sky Dweller

But the story didn’t end there. The competition continued, and the next prize was a Rolex Sky Dweller. I bought three tickets for this one and guess what? I won again! It was absolutely amazing.

This time, I drove up to Manchester during lockdown, which wasn’t exactly the best timing, but I was determined to get the watch. Unfortunately, I got stuck in traffic because of an accident on the motorway, but eventually, I made it and collected the watch.

Other Wins and Experiences

In total, I won four amazing watches: A Rolex Batman, a Sky Dweller, a Cartier Santos, and a Patek Philippe. Each win was an unbelievable experience, but there were ups and downs along the way.

The Cartier Santos, for example, didn’t come with a card. It was disappointing, but hey, I still got the watch and got to meet Brad. Then there was the Patek Philippe—a massive win, but there was a twist. When I picked it up, I found out the papers were just photocopies. I was a bit worried, but after checking with the official dealers, I confirmed it was real!

Turning Watches into Crypto

As you may know, I’m also into crypto. At one point, I decided to sell my watches to invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum. This turned out to be a great decision because the value of crypto skyrocketed, and I ended up making a lot of money. It also allowed me to continue collecting more watches, but with the added benefit of financial freedom.

Lessons Learned and Advice

The moral of the story is that luck plays a big part in these competitions, but once you win that first one, you start to build confidence. I began to buy more tickets, which increased my chances of winning more. However, I want to stress that not every ticket purchase resulted in a win—sometimes, you need to take risks, but also understand the odds.

Conclusion

So, that’s how I won four watches! I got lucky, but it’s also about being smart and taking chances. I hope this inspires you to try your luck in these competitions. Like, subscribe, and feel free to ask any questions. If there’s a lot of interest, I’ll happily do a follow-up video to answer any questions you have.

Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you in the next one!
